Jill Kiddon

The Space of Releations

In her publication Jill Kiddon leads the viewer into an infinite space of continuously fluctuating conditions and relations. The starting point is a body that never fully reveals itself; it initially appears as a determining factor, as the “zero point of the world”, as Michel Foucault puts it, from which all possible places emerge and radiate.

However, in an interplay with other objects – clay, stone and metal – a process of mutual influence begins. Points of reference dissolve and are formed anew, as shapes are altered. “The Space of Relations” is a visual journey into the inner structure of the self, which is in an ongoing process of becoming.
